How to Acknowledge eReefs

If you use the eReefs model outputs, software or platforms in your research, we ask that you include the following acknowledgement:

The eReefs datasets (model simulations, satellite or in-situ observations) and software were produced as part of the eReefs project (ereefs.org.au), which is a collaboration between Australia’s national science agency CSIRO, the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) and the Queensland Government, with observations obtained through the Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA). eReefs is funded by the Australian Government’s Reef Trust.

Services Provided to eReefs

The eReefs teams wish to gratefully acknowledge the following parties for their in-kind support of the eReefs collaboration:

ARDC Nectar Reseach Cloud

Web hosting for the eReefs Data Explorer and related web application has been supported by the Nectar Research Cloud and by the Queensland Cyber Infrastructure Foundation (QCIF) and Monash University Nectar node operators since 2014.

The Nectar Research Cloud is a collaborative Australian research platform supported by the NCRIS-funded Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC).

In 2024, the ARDC published a case study about 10 years of history with the eReefs platform: Protecting the Great Barrier Reef with eReefs, Powered by Nectar.

NCI Australia

Computation of the eReefs marine models and hosting for the eReefs marine model results datasets has been made possible with the assistance of resources from the National Computational Infrastructure (NCI Australia), an NCRIS-enabled capability supported by the Australian Government.
